ATC dyed tint offers good heat rejection in a color stable dyed film. Dyed films have been around the longest. They are most known for turning purple and bubbling. Don't worry though LLumar perfected the color stable dyed tint and they guarantee their film will not bubble, blister, peel or change color. ATC dyed film has a good color for matching factory privacy glass.

ATR metallized tint provides superior heat rejection for improved comfort. 3M was awarded a patent in 1966 for the process of adding metal to a film. Metallized films are great at blocking solar energy. That means a more comfortable cabin in your vehicle. Unfortunately, metal impedes wireless signals. In today’s wirelessly connected world that could mean one less bar on your cell phone. Reduced AM, FM or satellite radio reception. You may need to get closer to your car for your keyless entry to work, even tire pressure monitors, and GPS can be affected by metallized film.
